Traffic Control Plans
For this City of Houston project, ETSI designed the
traffic control plans along Hermann Drive from Main Street to east of Jackson.
The project involved the reconstruction of the road, major drainage facilities
and other utilities. These plans had to take into consideration the different
construction phases and provide for block-by-block closure of various streets on
Hermann Drive along with associated detour plans. The project had to deal with
lane closures adjacent to a museum, a hospital and other sensitive areas and
also the reconstruction of traffic circle around the historical MECOM fountain.
